The Coach 1941 Spring 2017 collection is an ode to modern women everywhere. Floaty feminine prairie dresses are worn with attitude-packed pieces: rebel-inspired bikers with chunky metal medallions, decorated creeper moccasins, and miniature encrusted Dinky handbags that don’t skimp on jazzy hardware.
I feel very much rock ’n’ roll rebellious in these ‘90s-inspired styles—as if I’m a groupie for my favourite rock ’n’ roll band—wearing a slick of mascara hidden behind oversized sunglasses to mask my under-eye shadows. Combined with a hint of feminine florals with a rickrack-trimmed prairie skirt, this outfit makes me feel very much like myself and it is a total fashion week statement
My super embellished Dinky—in other words, the Coach version of couture—is a hero piece, thanks to the jazzy treatment of floral encrusted hardware.
It’s time to embrace being both a rebel and a romantic, the Americana-inspired way.
I’m wearing Coach 1941 RTW collection.
